How do you Walk, Bike, Move and Live in San Diego?
Together as partners, Walk San Diego, The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, Move San Diego and the San Diego/Tijuana Chapter of the Urban Land Institute invite you to attend this important debate focused on community growth, development and the immediate and future needs for transportation in our region.
Come hear the Candidates, City Councilmember Carl DeMaio and Congressman Bob Filner in the only debate that will have a primary focus on enhancing and improving quality of life through how we live and move around in America's Finest City. Learn the views and opinions of San Diego's 2012 Mayoral Candidates on community issues that impact you:
-Livable Communities (getting around without having to drive so much!)
-Urban Growth and Development (how can we improve our communities while accommodating growth?)
-Locating new employment opportunities (can we commute less?)
-Improving Transportation Choices (bus, bike, transit, car share, carpool, trolley, Coaster)
The event will feature panelists from each of the representative organizations and questions submitted by audience members.
A networking reception with light refreshments will take place immediately following the one hour debate.
